PD OPTIONS
PD-5, This amplifier model takes one input and provides five outputs. This model is available in a 2U high,
half rack mount enclosure, 3.5” X 8.4” X 12”.
PD-5RM-B, This amplifier model takes one input and provides five outputs. This model is available in a
1U high, 19” full rack mount enclosure.
PD-10RM-B, This amplifier model takes one input and provides ten outputs. This model is available in a
1U high, 19” full rack mount enclosure. A battery back up module for uninterrupted operation may be ordered
as an option.
DESCRIPTION
The PD-5 is a TTL pulse distribution amplifier. The outputs are designed to drive low impedance loads and
long 50 or 75 Ω cables. The propagation delay through the amplifier is typically 10 ns. The channel-to-
channel delay differences are less than 1 ns. The small propagation delay characteristics and low
temperature coefficient of delay are essential for the distribution of high quality timing signals. The unit
operates on 110/220 VAC.
